Welcomes Deshawn

 

Deshawn was reborned from  a Caucasian  blank  kit,  sculpted by Jen Printy and is # 1 of 250 Limited Edition.

Deshawn weighs approximately  5 lbs 4 ozs and is 18 inches with bent legs.   

 

Deshawn 's coloring was painstakingly achieved by applying thin layers of my own mixtures of Genesis heat set paints.  This painting process is lengthy and took several days to achieve the natural skin tone and his subtle veining.

Rather than show you photos with a lot of  toys and props which will not be sent to you, I  am showing you photos of the baby only.  Since I don't have the luxury of "natural daylight", I photograph using photography lighting and no props and these photos have not  been altered in any way.

No attention to detail was left undone.  She has new manicured fingers and toes and all creases have been painted.

 

Deshawn has 3/4"  arms and legs and can wear Newborn baby clothes.

 

 

Open Nose and Lips Sealed with Sealer

After achieving the skin tone desired using layers of Genesis heat set paints,  Deshawn's lips were tripled sealed with a clear varnish to give them a wet look. She has an open nose (backed with felt) so she can breathe."  I have given her a beautiful  brown skin tone.   She has  gorgeous brown eyes, hand applied  human hair eyelashes .

Her custom made jointed doe-suede body is filled with premium polyfil and glass beads.  Her limbs also contain  glass beads and stuffing to give her little fingers and toes that soft realistic squishy feeling.  Her head has been weighted  but does not flop around. 

 

Angora Mohair 

Deshawn's hair has been rooted with  black angora mohair and then sealed inside with a water sealant glue so you can gently shampoo, condition and restyle her hair on occasion.  I have left the hair a little long so that you may reshape it into a style you desire.  I am the first to admit that I am not very good at styling hair!
