Mary's Sugar Babies Welcomes Alexa ~Sold~ Alexa has found a home in Australia! Reborned October 6, 2006 Weight appx 6lbs 1ozs Length 22" Alexa was Reborned from a blank Luca kit by Elly Knoops   Coloring Process Alexa's coloring was painstaking achieved by two methods along with using Genesis heat set paints and Oils.  The process took several days to achieve natural skin tone.  No attention to detail was left out, all of her creases and folds are shaded.  She received a new manicure on her fingers and toes as well. Hair and Eyes Alexa's hair was meticulously hand rooted with a fine needle with one or two hairs in each folicle. Her hair was then glued inside and then a water sealant was used so that her hair can be dampened and restyled. I have used Masterpiece eyes, Chuck Hazel, for Alexa's eyes and she has upper and lower brown human hair eyelashes. Her eyebrows were lightly painted for that baby look, using heat set paints, which will not fade. Her eyebrows have been faintly handpainted and set with heat paints so they will not fade. Her nose has been opened so she can breathe. Baby Alexa is wearing a beautiful House of Hatten dress which buttons down the back. The dress has a smocked embroidered yoke and she has matching panties, a fresh diaper and undershirt. Alexa's ears  are pierced and she is wearing a pair of faux pearl earrings.  I did not want to mix body parts on this baby so Alexa has the original Elly Knoops 3/4" arms and 3/4" legs. Her jointed doe-suede body is filled with tiny glass pellets sealed in a sack and premium poly-fil which doesn't bunch up.     Coming Home Alexa will arrive home as you see her here.  I will include a birth certificate and photo suitable for framing.
