Hair and Eyes  

Amber's hair is the best Mohair I've worked with in a long time.  The  Auburn color is so true and is so soft and silky; it feels like real baby hair! This hair is so nice I did not want to cut it.  I left her hair long so you will be able to restyle it to your liking.  In rooting Amber's hair, it was meticulously hand rooted with a fine needle and only has one or two hairs in each folicle. Her hair was then glued inside and then a water sealant was used so that her hair can be dampened and restyled.

I have used brown Masterpiece eyes and she has upper and lower human hair eyelashes. Her eyebrows were lightly painted using heat set paints which will not fade.   

 

Baby Amber is wearing a beautiful white House of Hatten dress which buttons down the back. The dress has a smocked embroidered yoke and has embroidery on the collar and sleeves.  Her panties are laced trimmed and she is also wearing  a diaper and slip. Amber's ears  are pierced and she is wearing a pair of faux diamond earrings.   She is pictured in her ruffled ribbon headband, but she does have a  magnetic hair bow and a non-magnetic pacifier.

I did not want to mix too many body parts on this baby because of the differance of texture in the vinyls, so Amber has the original Elly Knoops 3/4" arms and 3/4" legs. I did use the Berenguer breast and belly plate for posing purposes and will send it along with Amber.  I made Amber's jointed body and I can assure you it is well made and is filled with tiny glass pellets sealed in a sack and premium poly-fil which doesn't bunch up.   No sand, cat-litter, or soup cans used to weight this baby!

I stand behind my work 100% and your baby will arrive just as I have described in this auction.  All of my babies are fully insured in case of damage during shipping.  If you feel there is a problem when the baby arrives (other than what has been described herein) , please contact me immediately.  I will do my best to resolve the issue.  However, note that I do not refund due to buyer's remorse.  These babies are not toys, and will last as long as proper care is taken.  Do Not display your babies in direct sunlight!  This doll is now a collectible and is not meant to be played with as a child's toy.
